Göran Finnveden

Göran Finnveden is Professor of Environmental Strategic Analysis and Vice-president for sustainable development at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His main research interest is the use and development of life cycle assessment and other sustainability assessment tools. His contributions include both methodology development and case studies. He also works with environmental policy. Application areas include buildings, energy, ICT, transportation, urban development and waste management. He is a member of the editorial boards of four scientific journals, the scientific advisory board of the Joint Program Initiative Urban Europe, the scientific advisory board of the Finnish Environment Institute and the board of directors of the Swedish Nuclear Waste Fund. Finnveden has published more than 70 scientific papers and has nearly 4000 citations according to Scopus.
