Dr Marios S. Katsiotis obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering (Photocatalytic Construction Materials) in 2009 from the National Technical University of Athens. During his post-doctorate (ADNOC, UAE), he worked on the development of functional materials using advanced analytical techniques; he held an instrumental role in establishing an international academic network with partners from Greece, UAE, Korea and USA. Since May 2016, he holds the position of Group Research & Innovation Manager at TITAN Cement S.A., working on the development of novel and sustainable cementitious products.
